Helen first encountered Chinese Medicine through the practice of Taijiquan and Qigong, which helped her with her chronic back pain and also created an understanding of the foundations of Chinese Medicine.
Since opening the clinic in Peterborough in 2015, Helen has established herself as someone who provides great care using a combination of traditional eastern and modern western diagnostic tests and treatments. Helen can also provide homecare advice to follow between treatments.
Her practitioner qualifications include traditional Chinese medical (TCM) acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, zen shiatsu, sports therapy, cupping, pilates. Helen's training took place in the UK and China. Since qualifiying, Helen continues to attend training courses to refresh and enhance her practice, and to learn any new developments. Helen is therefore proud to provide a high level of expertise and skill.
In 2020 Helen opened a second clinic in Oundle and is now based at Oundle Osteopaths one or two half days a week. Helen has full membership with the Acupuncture Association and the British Acupuncture Federation.
Outside of work, Helen enjoys staying fit and active by walking her Whippet, swimming and going to the gym. She also enjoys a good adventure in the mountains or at sea. To relax, she reads, writes music, and tackles the latest weeds at her allotment.

The name of the clinic comes from the Chinese acupuncture point Yong Quan, which translates as bubbling spring or gushing spring. This is the first acupuncture point on the kidney channel in our bodies, located on the sole of the foot. The kidneys are the most important organ in Chinese medicine. If you have abundant kidney Qi, you are strong physically and sound mentally and emotionally.
Here at Bubbling Spring we work with you to revive, restore and rebalance so that you can return to a state of abundant wellbeing.
